Job summary

Boeing Employees Credit Union (BECU) is seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Manager to strengthen governance, risk management, and control oversight across the enterprise.

You will translate frameworks into practical standards, establish second-line oversight, and advance CCM and automation to reduce manual effort while improving visibility into cybersecurity risk. Remote or onsite, with flexible engagement across multiple states and teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Typically requires 7 years of cybersecurity experience or related experience in IT, Compliance, or Audit.
• Expertise leveraging established GRC frameworks and regulatory guidance (FFIEC, GLBA, PCI/DSS, SOX, NIST CSF).

Responsibilities

• Develop, evolve, and continuously improve GRC programs, processes, standards, guidelines, and supporting disciplines.
• Advance second-line oversight of cybersecurity control framework and remediation efforts.
• Support cybersecurity-related regulatory examinations (NCUA, Washington State DFI) with evidence and responses.
• Translate frameworks and regulatory expectations into practical standards and operating practices.
• Build Continuous Control Monitoring capabilities with automated tooling and dashboards.
• Modernize GRC through automation, AI, and Power Platform integrations.
• Evolve cybersecurity standards in response to changes in technology and regulatory requirements.
• Develop meaningful cybersecurity metrics and reporting for leaders and control owners.
