Job summary

The Bachrach Group is seeking a Senior Grants Associate for a leading New York City nonprofit organization to support a diverse portfolio of foundation and government funding. You will write high-quality applications, proposals, reports, and supporting materials, conduct prospect research, ensure compliance, and collaborate with program, finance, and development teams.

Qualifications

3-5 years of grant-writing experience in social services or related fields.
Experience with prospect research and cultivation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and complex projects independently.
Strong collaboration and professionalism when handling information.
Experience with government grant portals and CRM systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Write competitive letters of intent, applications, proposals, reports, and supporting materials for foundation and government funding.
Ensure content is accurate, compelling, and aligned with funder guidelines.
Research significant foundation and government funding opportunities.
Monitor government sites for RFPs, RFQs, and RFAs and create opportunity summaries.
Review grants for accuracy and compliance; track deadlines and renewals.
Collaborate with program, finance, and development teams to gather materials.
