Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in grant writing or institutional giving.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Strong project management and deadline-driven.
• Interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to prioritize, detail-oriented under pressure.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Google Apps, Dropbox, Excel and Word; Salesforce/QuickBooks a plus.
• Ability to present numerical data clearly.
• Social media savvy a plus.
• Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit in a dynamic environment.
• Interest in issues affecting girls, women, and gender-expansive youth; commitment to dismantling racism.

Responsibilities

• Prepare grant proposals and reports for foundations, government agencies, and corporations.
• Manage grant deadlines in Salesforce and Google Grants Calendar.
• Draft supplemental materials for Annual Report, Impact Report, and Strategic Plan.
• Identify and develop strategies to optimize grants administration.
• Collaborate with ED, Development Director and program teams to identify funding priorities.
• Conduct research to identify new grant prospects/opportunities.
• Work with Operations and program staff to formulate budgets for grant proposals.
• Provide progress reports to funders and the Board of Directors.
• Maintain grant records in Dropbox and Salesforce, and in physical files.
• Enter, manage, and analyze data, run reports, and create dashboards in Salesforce; run reports in QuickBooks.
• Provide logistical and administrative support for GBH performances and fundraising events.
