The role oversees all grant functions of the agency, coordinating with the Chief of Staff and CEO to secure government and private funding and track program outcomes. Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of professional grant writing or technical writing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to independently develop complex grant applications.
• Strong knowledge of NOFO/RFA requirements, evaluation criteria, work plans, budgets, performance measures, and supporting documentation.
• Excellent writing, editing, research, analytical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all aspects of grant applications and reporting, including targeted sponsorship applications, within deadlines.
• Develops grant strategies, application checklists, schedules, and information requests.
• Creates and implements a realistic annual plan for the grants program to support the organization’s mission and goals, annual plan and budget.
• Drafts comprehensive application narratives and ensures consistency among narratives, budgets, and supporting documents.
• Manages relationships with private funders in partnership with leadership.
• Coordinates with program staff and subject matter experts to gather necessary information.
