Job summary

The Florida Division of Emergency Management is seeking an OPS Grants Specialist V in Tallahassee to manage state and federal emergency management grant funding, ensure compliance, and reconcile expenditures under grant agreements.

The role requires FCCM certification or willingness to obtain it within 12 months, plus at least two years of grants or contract management experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office; travel for monitoring is required.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of grants or contract management experience.
• Knowledge of state and federal grant regulations and auditing procedures.
• Experience with monitoring and reporting on grant outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical financial assistance related to grant funding and ensure compliance with agreements.
• Monitor recipient performance, review deliverables, and certify funds receivable.
• Develop regional reports and tracking spreadsheets using program data.
• Assist with contract development and monitoring criteria, including reporting.
• Perform monitoring activities and support SEOC operations during activations.
