Mount Sinai Health System seeks a Grants Manager to guide investigators through preparation, submission, and management of research grant and contract proposals, awards, and agreements. You will ensure compliance with institutional and sponsor rules and collaborate with departments and extramural sponsors to secure endorsements.

Responsibilities include pre-award budget development, data/document maintenance, and timely reporting.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA in related areas preferred.
• 7+ years experience in grants management or closely relevant, preferably in health care or higher education, with a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong background in grant administration/budgeting principles and practices, excellent written and oral communication skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
• Previous experience with NIH grants in an academic research environment
• Excellent communication and ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet multiple deadlines
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as within a team
• Intermediate/advanced Excel and Word skills
• Prior experience with InfoEd is a plus

Mansioni

• Work closely with investigators on all aspects of the grant application process.
• Reviews grant and contract proposal applications for accuracy and compliance.
• Liaise with departmental administrators, faculty and extramural funding agencies to endorse edits.
• Ensure applications are submitted to the appropriate committees.
• Provide supplemental information to extramural sponsors as needed.
• May create and maintain documentation for proposal submissions and approvals.
• Routine data entry and maintenance in internal tracking systems and shared drives.
• May prepare funding opportunities packets and alerts.
• Perform other related duties.
