The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai seeks a skilled Grants & Contracts Manager to oversee the full cycle of research funding for the Department of Medicine. You will guide pre-award budgets, monitor post-award performance, and manage subcontracts while ensuring compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.

As a liaison among researchers, department administrators and sponsors, you will review proposals, prepare necessary documentation, and maintain robust records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred (MPA/MPH).
• Minimum 5+ years in grants & contracts management.

Responsabilités

• Oversee pre-award budget development, post-award monitoring, sub-contract management and grant closeout.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and private agency rules and regulations.
• Liaise with faculty, departments and extramural funding agencies to finalize proposals.
• Analyze grant activity, monitor spending and provide financial reporting.
