MCW is seeking an experienced Grants Accountant to support financial, accounting and administrative functions for sponsored programs.

You will prepare reports, invoices, and journal entries, monitor expenditures and assist with audits, ensuring compliance with OMB Uniform Guidance and agency regulations.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Accounting and at least 6 years of relevant grants experience; strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with grants and contracts reporting and auditing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare external financial reports and monthly sponsor invoicing.
• Monitor grant expenditures and re-budget as needed.
• Close out grants and prepare for audits per federal guidelines.
• Prepare journal entries and cost transfers for projects.
