Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Senior Grant Administrator to coordinate strategic operations for a complex, multi-million-dollar grant-funded department. This role acts as a key liaison among program strategy, financial management, compliance, and operations.

Home-based work is available, with responsibilities spanning budget tracking, reporting, and process optimization. As a member of the Voices for Healthy Kids team, you will lead or contribute to cross-functional initiatives,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of meaningful experience.
• Experience in accounting, budgeting, grant management, and related reporting.

Responsibilities

• Integrates grant requirements into the program and monitors processes.
• Develops and maintains internal records and systems to support program management.
• Monitors budgets and spending, collaborates with financial management staff; responsible for all budget reporting.
• Coordinates program budget development with leadership teams.
• Monitor budgets and expenditures, analyze financial activity, and provide variance reporting.
• Coordinates work with internal stakeholders across staff functions.
• Develop and maintain internal systems, controls, and documentation for audit readiness.
• Act as the Voices technology coordinator to optimize grant systems.
• Build relationships with internal teams, partners, and grantees to enable collaboration.
• Lead or contribute to cross-functional initiatives and change management.
