Job summary

The Office of Grants at the Office of the Secretary of Health and Human Services is seeking a Senior Grants Data Standards Analyst to advance grants data standards in alignment with federal requirements.

The role leads analytical workstreams and conducts complex program analyses, collaborating with OMB and other federal agencies to translate findings into actionable guidance for policy, program management, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires strong analytical capabilities in grants data standards and program analysis.
• Ability to assess alignment with statutory requirements and guidance from OMB and regulations.
• Experience collaborating with federal agencies and standards bodies to promote adoption of data standards.

Responsibilities

• Conducts complex management and program analyses related to implementation of the GREAT Act and the Federal Integrated Business Framework (FIBF) for Grants, identifying risks, gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assesses alignment of grants data standards with statutory requirements, OMB guidance, federal grants regulations, and departmental policies, and recommends corrective or enhancement strategies.
• Collaborates with officials from OMB and federal grant-making agencies, shared service providers, and standards bodies to analyze and support adoption of grants data standards.
• Prepares briefings, presentations, and written analyses translating complex technical and analytical findings into clear, actionable information for diverse audiences.
• Leads analytical workstreams or projects by establishing analytical frameworks, methodologies, milestones, and deliverables.

As a(n) Senior Grants Data Standards Analyst, you will:
