NPower is seeking a Senior Grant Writer to join a growing development team at a national workforce development nonprofit in Brooklyn, NY. You will coordinate and draft proposals and reports for six- and seven-figure grants.

You’ll work with program, finance, and administrative staff to gather data for proposals, manage deadlines in the CRM, and tailor narratives to funders’ needs. This role supports the organization’s fundraising expansion and impact.

Formación

• 5+ years of government, foundation, and/or corporate grant writing experience.
• Excellent writing and proofreading skills.
• Ability to describe complex concepts or programs in concise yet impactful terms.
• Track record securing grant awards for six-figure+ grants.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to implement program data into grant requests.
• Knowledge of fundraising information sources and research tools.
• Fundraising experience in workforce development or related fields preferred.
• Ability to work independently while taking direction from supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office; Salesforce or nonprofit CRM experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• In collaboration with Grants Manager and Development team, develop, write, and submit LOIs, proposals, and reports to funders within deadlines.
• Maintain proposal and report documentation using the CRM and track reporting deadlines.
• Work closely with program, finance, and admin staff to gather required data for proposals and reporting.
• Update grant narratives to reflect community needs, program descriptions, and outcomes.
• Support other fundraising activities as needed.
