Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years of related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a trusted point of contact for pre-award and post-award communications, liaising with sponsor agencies, sub-award sites, internal groups, and HSOM faculty and staff.
• Prepares and manages complete sponsored research proposals by refining, reviewing, submitting, and tracking applications while explaining pre-award requirements and post-award considerations.
• Develops and prepares project budgets by calculating faculty and staff effort, indirect costs, exclusions, and required budget justifications.
• Monitors proposal development milestones and timelines, identifying risks and recommending adjustments to leadership for timely submissions.
• Coordinates collection, editing, and submission of administrative documentation including biosketches and required materials.
• Reviews draft grant components and provides high-level copy edits to improve clarity and quality of materials.
• Drafts and maintains proposal support materials such as letters of support and facilities statements.
• Uses productivity tools to track milestones, suggest workflow improvements, and tailor tracking templates.
• Supports grant development and shared services by assisting sub-award submissions and offering training to faculty and staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
