Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Science, or related field.
• Related degree fields: Law and business would be considered.
• Reviewing, managing, or administering agreements, compliance requirements, or funded projects, including assessing terms, identifying risk, ensuring adherence to institutional or sponsor guidelines, and coordinating required approvals.
• Engaging in extensive communications related to complex projects and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as a university representative for extramural grants and contracts administration.
• Provide expert guidance and problem resolution for grant activities.
• Review complex proposals and awards for sponsor compliance.
• Advise faculty on grant administration and budget preparation.
• Negotiate and monitor grant modifications and subcontracts.
• Mentor staff and provide training.
• Attend meetings and stay current with field developments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
