Moffitt Cancer Center seeks a Grant Management Administrator III to handle pre-award activities, ensuring complex grant submissions adhere to sponsor and institutional policies. The role collaborates with Principal Investigators and administrators to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Ideal candidates demonstrate discretion, superior customer service, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, while managing priorities under deadlines and changing schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years grant/research administration or project submission experience.
• In lieu of a bachelor's degree, associate’s with 5 years grant/research administration experience or high school diploma with 7 years experience.
• Experience preparing complex grant submissions.
• Familiarity with federal and institutional compliance for research.

Responsibilities

• Initiate activities independently per timetables and use good judgment to answer questions and mitigate problems.
• Prepare and submit complex grant applications/submissions.
• Interact professionally with staff and outside agencies; exercise discretion and initiative.
• Build solid relationships and plan work while handling deadlines and priorities.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
