Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst lead to oversee fiscal compliance for Sponsored Projects and to drive policy implementation for grant accounting. The role includes auditing preparations, revenue recognition, and accounts receivable processes within our ERP system.

You will lead a team of analysts, ensure regulatory alignment with OMB Uniform Guidance, and collaborate across finance and research to optimize efficiency and accuracy in reporting and billing.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in business, finance, or accounting.
• Eight+ years of SPA administration or auditing experience.
• Two+ years in a lead or management role within finance/analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop staffing models and time studies to ensure efficiency.
• Lead a team of Senior Financial Analysts for Sponsored Projects.
• Develop department procedures and processes and measure success.
• Ensure Lawson is used to record expenses, revenue, billing, and collections.
• Maintain regulatory compliance for Federal grants, state, and other funding sources.
• Collaborate with Systems on data analysis to improve efficiency.
• Stay updated with OMB Uniform Guidance and Florida Single Audit Act.
