Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior System Software Engineer to join the GPU System Software team in the United States. You will oversee the lifecycle of GPU feature development, from concept to production, with emphasis on display features and energy-efficient consumer products.

You will work on coupling hardware and software architectures, optimize across teams, and influence SoC/ GPU design directions while collaborating with OEM/ODM partners. The role requires strong C skills and deep OS expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in system software or related field.
• B.S. or higher degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
• Strong programming skills in C and low level interfaces.
• Solid background in operating system internals, device drivers, RTOS, algorithms, and data structures.
• Ability to work closely with hardware designers and other driver engineers.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define, POC, design, and develop display features based on VESA Display Port standards.
• Drive and resolve complex optimization strategies across multiple teams.
• Influence next-generation GPU/SoC and Platform architecture with specifications.
• Collaborate with local and remote teams and OEM/ODM partners.
