Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a highly motivated GPU Software engineer to join the GPU Software team. You will design, implement and debug kernel‑mode software and embedded SW to take next‑gen hardware from design to production, focusing on system performance, power efficiency and robustness across datacenter systems, desktops, laptops and gaming consoles.

You have a BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent, and 8+ years of software development experience.

Qualifications

BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of relevant software development experience.
Background in solving problems that apply to sophisticated systems deployed at scale.
Strong C/C++ programming skills with initiative in independent coding projects.
Familiarity with computer system architecture, microprocessor fundamentals, and memory controllers.
Strong OS fundamentals with kernel experience on Linux or Windows.

Responsibilities

Design, implement and debug kernel-mode changes in the NVIDIA SW stack to bring next-gen HW from design to production.
Follow devices through development to datacenter systems, desktops, notebooks, workstations, and gaming consoles.
Be involved in emulation, bringup, and product hardening for groundbreaking products.
Collaborate with teams from around the globe.
