Job summary

COPT Defense Properties is hiring a Government Services Manager – Operations to lead a team of building technicians and manage project delivery within time and budget constraints. You will work closely with Government Contracting Officers, vendors, and tenants to ensure successful execution and continuous improvement of processes.

The role requires a Secret Clearance, extensive project management experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Operations, or related field.
• Project Management Certification or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 7 years of project management experience.
• Minimum 2 years of providing work direction to others.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Must hold and maintain a Secret Security Clearance with USG.

Responsibilities

• Plan, track, and document projects from initiation through closeout.
• Intervene and solve project issues to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress.
• Coordinate meetings and communicate action items to stakeholders.
• Prepare letters, minutes, reports, and field directives as needed.
• Monitor budgets and manage invoices; ensure timely payments.
• Oversee procurement, contracts, and vendor communication.
