Job summary

Cardinal Technology Systems, Corp seeks a Requirements Analyst to translate user needs into formal software requirements and coordinate with developers. You will gather stakeholder input, document use cases and non-functional requirements, and ensure the final system meets users’ goals.

The role requires a longstanding federal clearance, strong communication, and experience in requirements management throughout the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Moderate Risk, Confidential, Non-Critical Sensitive, Tier 3/NACLC/ANACI investigation.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science.
• Experience interviewing users to understand desired software outcomes.
• Experience documenting capabilities and presenting to developers.
• Experience identifying and prioritizing system requirements.
• Experience documenting requirements in a software requirements specification.
• Experience creating use cases, user goals, and non-functional requirements.

Responsibilities

• During planning, interview users to understand desired software outcomes.
• Document capabilities formally agreed by users for developers.
• Communicate with stakeholders to identify operational and application requirements.
• Identify and prioritize system requirements documented in a software requirements specification.
• Create models or storyboards to record system requirements.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders on test results and requirement changes.
• Serve as intermediary between customer and development team.
• Ensure requirements reflect end users’ needs and reflect developed capabilities.
• Participate in peer reviews to validate requirements and design.
