Job summary

Oceaneering is seeking a Contracts Analyst III to join our Contracts Department. You may mentor peers while supporting proposals, managing contracts and agreements, and ensuring compliance with U.S. Government contracting requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 7+ years of contracting experience, and familiarity with FAR Part 15 and DFARS. Strong writing, negotiation, and analytical skills are essential, and eligibility for a Top Secret clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible contracting experience.
• Experience contracting with the U.S. Government as prime and subcontractor.
• Expertise in FAR Part 15 and cost-reimbursable contracts.
• Familiarity with the FAR system and government regulations.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial and government contract terms.
• Strong synthesis, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and lead within the Contracts Department on proposals and agreements.
• Shape contract strategies and prepare compliant, competitive proposals.
• Advise on contractual rights, obligations, and contract administration.
• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate contracts and related documents.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and audit-ready files.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FAR updates and DFARS deviations.
• Support learning and development initiatives within the team.
