Job summary

Oceaneering International Inc. is seeking a Contracts Analyst III within the Contracts Department to support proposals and manage government contracts, reporting to the Director of Contracts. You will mentor peers, shape contract strategy, and ensure compliance with FAR and related requirements.

The role involves drafting and negotiating a range of contract documents, maintaining audit-ready files, and staying current with regulatory changes. A Top Secret clearance is preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible contracting experience.
• Experience contracting with the U.S. Government as prime and subcontractor.
• Expertise in FAR Part 15 and cost-reimbursable contracts.
• Familiarity with the FAR system and government regulations.
• Experience drafting, revising, negotiating contract terms and conditions.
• Willingness to obtain/maintain Top Secret clearance.
• Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM) desired.

Responsibilities

• Mentor colleagues and guide proposals, contracts, and agreements.
• Shape contract strategies for new opportunities and proposals.
• Advise on contractual rights and obligations for informed decisions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various contract documents.
• Maintain audit-ready contract files and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Pursue training and share key takeaways with peers.
