Job summary

Rapiscan Systems, Inc. seeks a Senior Manager, Government Contracts, to administer U.S. Government contracts and supervise two contract managers.

You will serve as the primary contract point of contact with customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders throughout the lifecycle, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and regulatory requirements. You will lead contract negotiations, analyze complex bid tenders, and collaborate with senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 10+ years federal contracts management experience, preferably with TSA.
• Proven experience supervising staff at the manager level.
• Experience with U.S. Government customers (DHS, DOE, DOS, DoD) and large prime contractors.
• Strong FAR, GSA Schedules, and related regulations knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers and internal teams.
• Knowledge of ethics standards in contracting actions.
• Ability to manage multiple activities with tight deadlines.
• Ability to obtain and maintain relevant government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide contract analysis and review for solicitations and procurements.
• Draft, review, negotiate contracts, modifications and related documents.
• Administer and process U.S. Government contracts in internal systems.
• Advise business units on contractual and regulatory matters (FAR/DFARS).
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, customer requirements, and company policies.
• Prepare correspondence, negotiation memoranda, and contract files.
• Train and support Federal contracts managers with workload guidance.
• Oversee quality control in contract review processes in M-Files.
