Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a legal function with at least 3 years advising on government contracting and compliance.
• Ability to translate contract obligations into internal processes and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Comfort with tight timelines, competing priorities, and a high volume of contracts.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex government contracts, ensuring FAR compliance.
• Guide the product lifecycle and contracting process from strategy to implementation and ongoing compliance.
• Improve templates, playbooks, and processes with the commercial legal team.
• Coordinate with Legal Ops to drive automation and efficiency.
• Monitor regulatory developments that impact decision making.
• Manage outside counsel for novel questions in government contracts.
• Support other commercial legal functions when core government work slows.
