Job summary

CohnReznick is seeking an Advisory Senior Associate for its Government Contracting team in Tysons, VA. You will collaborate with client management to deliver timely government-contracting advisory services and support projects across pricing, CAS, and DFARS domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA license is a plus.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in the government contract industry.
• Experience with Indirect Rates and Incurred Cost Submissions.
• Knowledge of DFARS business system requirements, specifically estimating and/or CPSR.
• Strong analytical, technical, and advisory skills.
• Excellent client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong FAR/CAS knowledge.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Able to multitask and travel as needed.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, efficient advisory support in the government contracting environment.
• Support a range of advisory services on ongoing government contractor projects.
• Manage day-to-day activities on systems readiness assessments and mock audits (Accounting, Estimating, CPSR, Property).
• Conduct indirect rate structure evaluations and propose alternative structures.
• Assist with pricing strategy analysis.
• Assist with incurred cost submissions and CAS disclosures.
• Advise clients on DCAA disputes and responses.
• Ensure policies, procedures and internal controls meet FAR/CAS requirements.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes in ERP.
• Prepare financial statements and review ratios/variances.
• Support multiple client projects and manage time/budget expectations.
• Foster strong client relationships and teamwork.
