Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of budgeting laws, rules and government accounting procedures.
• Knowledge of public administration, budgeting and governmental accounting.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and consolidates department budget estimates.
• Compiles data for budget preparation and justifies funds requested.
• Reviews budget submissions and prepares recommendations.
• Attends legislative hearings relative to fund control.
• Supervises personnel within the unit.
• Prepares reports for the Deputy Commissioner.
