Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking an experienced project/program manager to lead government contracting initiatives, manage client relationships and deliver solutions on time and within scope.

You will oversee SDLC, coordinate with consultants, and apply Deltek/Costpoint experience to complex programs, with travel up to 50%. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or related field and values CPA/PMP credentials.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years delivering financial and management consulting services.
• Experience with government contracting projects and federal/commercial clients.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of all project phases and work with clients to meet objectives.
• Demonstrate expertise with SDLC for a project/program management office to support project managers.
• Apply technical and functional skills to evaluate and implement packaged software solutions.
• Develop and execute methodologies for government contracting programs.
• Identify new business opportunities; assist with proposals and market research.
• Deliver exceptional client service in all interactions and projects.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams, including executives.
• Manage day-to-day project activities and allocate responsibilities to team members.
• Provide coaching and performance guidance to consultants and project staff.
• Contribute to management of the Consulting Practice and develop personal development plans.
