Job summary

Baker Tilly US, LLP is seeking an experienced project/program management professional to lead government contracting initiatives. You will manage all project phases and work directly with clients to achieve objectives, leveraging SDLC expertise in a PMO context.

Travel up to 50% for client engagements is required. The role emphasizes coaching, exceptional client service, and delivering results for commercial and federal clients using Deltek Costpoint and the Microsoft Office suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Management, or related field.
• Minimum of ten (10) years delivering financial and management consulting services.
• Experience with commercial and federal clients; Deltek/Costpoint experience.
• Strong management, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for client engagements.
• CPA, PMP, or related certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for all project phases and work directly with clients to achieve project objectives.
• Demonstrate expertise with SDLC for a PMO supporting technical project managers.
• Evaluate and implement packaged software solutions.
• Develop methodologies for government contracting industry.
• Identify new business opportunities, proposals, and market research.
• Deliver exceptional client service in all interactions and projects.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams, including executives.
• Manage day-to-day project activities and assign team responsibilities.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance counseling to staff.
• Contribute to the Consulting Practice and set professional goals.
