Job summary

Redstone GCI is seeking an experienced Accounting Senior Consultant to join our Collaborative Accounting Team as a senior technical resource. You will lead billable engagements, review work, and resolve complex issues, while remaining hands-on with client work and collaborating with system specialists when fixes are required.

The role requires at least five years of progressive accounting experience, strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, and hands-on Unanet proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience owning month-end close and reviewing work.
• Strong Excel skills and U.S. GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform billable client work including monthly close.
• Escalation point for staff accounting questions.
• Review work for accuracy and GAAP compliance.
• Troubleshoot Unanet transactions with tech help as needed.
• Oversee client accounting activities such as cash management, AP, AR, payroll.
