Job summary

Strategic Employment is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage client accounting operations in Unanet ERP for government contractors and project-based organizations. This is a client-facing consulting role with a focus on technical accounting proficiency and financial systems knowledge.

You will help improve financial reporting, streamline processes, and ensure compliance across multiple engagements, with a fully remote work setup and exposure to senior leadership in a boutique

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–15 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with Unanet ERP.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support client accounting operations within Unanet ERP.
• Prepare and review journal entries; support month-end close.
• Produce financial statements and management reports.
• Configure and optimize Unanet accounting systems.
• Train client teams on Unanet functionality and processes.
• Collaborate with client finance teams to align workflows with compliance.
• Manage multiple client engagements with exceptional service.
