Job summary

FM Talent Source is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support the financial health of a growing organization serving government, commercial, and nonprofit clients. You will manage full-cycle processes, lead closes, and ensure GAAP compliance while leveraging Unanet ERP and ADP payroll to drive accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5-8 years progressive accounting experience.
Experience in government contracting environment.
Strong GAAP knowledge and audit preparation.

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP, AR, general ledger, reconciliations, payroll, and cash management.
Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes and prepare financial statements.
Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and executive reporting.
Serve as administrator for Unanet ERP.
Identify process improvements and automate accounting and payroll tasks.
Coordinate payroll through ADP and ensure compliance.
Support audits, tax reporting, project accounting, and FAR compliance.
Provide pricing and financial support for proposals and contracts.
