Job summary

Pavago is hiring a Google Ads Senior Account Manager to lead a pod of up to seven Account Managers while personally managing a reduced portfolio of high-value PPC clients. This player-coach role combines hands-on Google Ads work with coaching, process improvement, and client retention.

You will deliver PPC performance, develop junior managers, and keep key clients longer by setting high standards and scalable workflows. EST hours posted.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on Google Ads experience.
• Proven ability to build, optimize, and scale profitable PPC campaigns.
• Strong ability to audit and QA Google Ads accounts.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or coaching Account Managers or client-facing teams.
• Demonstrated ability to improve team performance.
• Strong client communication and escalation-management skills.
• Experience building repeatable processes, SOPs, and QA systems.
• This is not a first-time management role; leadership experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Own a reduced portfolio of high-value Google Ads/PPC accounts.
• Develop and optimize strategies based on performance data and business objectives.
• Analyze campaign results and provide actionable recommendations.
• Serve as a senior strategic advisor and escalation point.
• Identify account risks before they impact retention.
• Manage high-stakes client conversations.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Lead a pod of up to 7 Google Ads Account Managers.
• Run weekly 1:1s and coaching sessions.
• QA campaign work and maintain PPC standards.
