Job summary

Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking an experienced Senior Instructor/ Player Development Specialist to lead golf instruction and junior programs on the Stanford main campus. The role focuses on individual and group instruction, plus development of junior players and larger programming at the Learning Center.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and four years of relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of golf instruction experience, including junior golf and group programming.
• PGA Member (Class A) or Level 1 PGA Associate in good standing preferred.
• Familiarity with teaching technology such as TrackMan, video analysis or launch monitors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional services to groups and individuals, 10 hours per week.
• Lead golf instruction and player development programming at the Learning Center.
• Design and manage junior programs and larger group clinics.
• Maintain teaching aids, inventory and scheduling; assist with billing.
• Support budget tracking and administrative needs for instruction programs.
• Collaborate with Stanford Golf Course staff to ensure high-quality instruction.
