Job summary

SV Golf in the Bay Area seeks a Director of Golf Camps to lead junior golf camps across multiple sites, overseeing curriculum, staffing, safety, scheduling, and growth. Travel between camp locations is required, with peaks in summer and school breaks.

The ideal candidate has experience leading golf camps or youth programs, strong organization and communication skills, and a commitment to safe, high-quality instruction for junior players.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading golf camps or junior golf instruction.
• Strong knowledge of golf fundamentals and junior development.
• Ability to lead and manage a coaching staff.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Willing to work at multiple sites and travel between camps.
• Pass California background check.
• Complete mandated youth-safety training within 30 days.
• CPR / First Aid certification or able to obtain within 30 days.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute all junior golf camps across sites.
• Build and maintain annual and seasonal camp schedules.
• Coordinate daily operations: staffing, camper groups, activities, equipment, and facilities.
• Establish standard operating procedures so camps run consistently across locations.
• Monitor capacity, enrollment, staffing needs, and program performance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for camp staff, parents, participants, and facility partners.
• Develop and maintain curriculum for beginner through advanced junior golfers.
• Deliver structured instruction across putting, chipping, pitching, full swing, rules, etiquette, and on-course play.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, schedule, and supervise camp coaches and support staff.
• Ensure camper experiences are welcoming, safe, inclusive, and positive.
• Own parent communication and follow-up.
• Support promotions, early registration, and enrollment growth.
• Identify opportunities to expand offerings and partnerships.
• Maintain safety culture and meet youth-safety requirements.
