Job summary

Stanford Golf Course is seeking a Senior Instructor/ Player Development Specialist to lead instructional and junior programming on the Stanford main campus. This onsite role reports to the General Manager and collaborates with staff across the Learning Center to ensure high-quality programs.

Responsibilities include delivering 10+ instructional hours weekly, developing junior programs, and managing admin tasks such as scheduling and billing.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree and four years of relevant experience preferred.
  • PGA Member (Class A) or Level 1 PGA Associate in good standing preferred.
  • Experience with junior golf curricula (e.g., PGA Jr. League, US Kids Golf, Operation 36) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Golf Instruction (70%): provide instructional services minimum 10 hours per week; oversee and direct golf instruction and player development programming.
  • Junior Golf & Large Group Programming (30%): design, develop and lead junior golf programs, camps and clinics; manage larger group programming; recruit and supervise junior instructors.
  • Administration (10%): provide administrative assistance for the Stanford Learning Center; manage schedules, registrations and billing; track participation and program data.
