Job summary

City of Loveland operates The Olde Course at Loveland and is seeking an experienced Golf Course Superintendent. You will oversee maintenance, ensure pristine greens and fairways, manage irrigation, and lead staff to deliver top-tier course conditions.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Turfgrass Management, 5 years in maintenance, and 3 years of supervisory experience, with a valid license and pesticide certification within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Turfgrass Management or related field.
• 5 years experience in golf course maintenance.
• 3 years supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Colorado Pesticide Applicator's license within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Effective golf course management of attractive, consistent, uniform and fast turf.
• Ensures smooth and consistent putting surfaces.
• Ensures fair and level placement of the hole within putting surface.
• Develops and implements long-term tree and natural area management plans.
• Manages the irrigation system and water resources efficiently.
• Monitors expenditures and revenue projections for the golf course.
