Oliphant Golf Management in Toledo, Ohio, is seeking a Senior Golf Course Superintendent to oversee agronomic management and daily maintenance of Ottawa Park Golf Course, plus Detwiler Park GC and Collins Park GC. You will lead the maintenance crew, manage the budget and equipment, and coordinate with the General Manager and Golf Shop staff to deliver an exceptional playing experience year-round.

Requirements include a 2–4 year Turf Management / Horticulture degree (preferred) and minimum 3

Qualifications

• 2-4 year Turf Management / Horticulture degree preferred
• Ability to obtain an Ohio pesticide license
• Minimum 3 years related work, management and supervision experience

Responsabilités

• Oversees the care and maintenance of turf and overall playing conditions
• Oversees and guides maintenance department operations and personnel
• Recruits, supervises and retains the maintenance crew; conducts evaluations and safety meetings
• Maintains courses to excellent playing condition per Toledo City Golf and OGM standards
• Schedules practices around play to maximize efficiency and minimize disruption
• Develops annual plans for cultural practices and landscaping areas
• Manages water usage tracking and irrigation systems; reports on water sources
• Provides training to ensure OSHA/compliance and safe operation of equipment
• Develops annual operating budgets and capital improvement plans
• Directs staff on planting of vegetation and maintenance of plant beds
