Oliphant Golf Management in Toledo seeks a Senior Golf Course Superintendent to oversee agronomic management and daily maintenance at Ottawa Park, Detwiler Park, and Collins Park.

The role requires 3+ years in supervision, a Turf Management/Horticulture degree, and the ability to obtain an Ohio pesticide license; you will lead the maintenance crew, manage budgets, water usage, and safety training to uphold top-tier course conditions.

Qualifications

• 2-4 year Turf Management / Horticulture degree preferred
• Ability to obtain an Ohio pesticide license
• Minimum 3 Years Related Work, Management And Supervision Experience

Responsibilities

• Oversees the care and maintenance of turf and playing conditions across Ottawa Park, Detwiler Park, and Collins Park grounds.
• Directs the Toledo City Golf maintenance department and all personnel.
• Recruits, supervises and evaluates the maintenance crew; conducts safety meetings.
• Maintains landscapes to high visual and playing standards as directed by management and OGM.
• Plans and budgets annual maintenance and capital improvement projects; coordinates with GM and Golf Shop for optimal scheduling around play.
• Manages water usage tracking and irrigation systems; ensures compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Oversees chemical applications in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.
