Invited is seeking a Superintendent to lead the maintenance of an 18-hole golf operation, overseeing agronomy, budgeting, staffing, and regulatory compliance. The role centralizes turf and plant management, asset oversight, and coordination with golf professionals to balance maintenance with member play.

The ideal candidate will have a Turf Management degree, 3+ years of golf course maintenance experience, budgeting skills, pesticide licensure, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Associates and/or bachelor’s degree in Turf Management or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of Golf Course Maintenance experience.
• Minimum of 1 year managing budgets for course and landscape maintenance.
• Minimum of 1 year knowledge of equipment, products and resources for golf course operations.

Responsabilités

• Provide agronomic oversight to ensure healthy growth of golf course grasses, trees, wetlands and other plant materials.
• Supervise chemical applications and record-keeping in compliance with regulations.
• Oversee safe operation, use and maintenance of golf course equipment; budget for replacement/expansion as needed.
• Maintain golf course to high standards following company and industry guidelines.
• Control expenses related to golf course operations within the budget.
• Collaborate with Head Golf Professional to optimize rounds around member plays and events.
• Regularly communicate with members to exceed expectations.
• Ensure staff training in OSHA, safety, and state/federal guidelines for safe operations.
• Lead and participate in meetings on club operations, maintenance schedules, safety protocols and environmental concerns.
