Job summary

Oliphant Golf Management seeks a Senior Golf Course Superintendent for Toledo City Golf, overseeing agronomic management of Ottawa Park, Detwiler Park, and Collins Park courses. You will supervise daily maintenance, manage budgets, and coordinate with the General Manager to deliver exceptional playing conditions.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience, a turf management degree if possible, and ability to obtain an Ohio pesticide license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years related work, management and supervision experience.
• Pesticide license eligibility or ability to obtain Ohio pesticide license.
• Experience overseeing maintenance crews and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversees turf care and maintenance to ensure top playing conditions.
• Directs maintenance department operations and staff.
• Recruits, supervises and evaluates maintenance crew; conducts safety meetings.
• Develops annual maintenance plans and capital improvement concepts.
• Manages water usage tracking and irrigation systems; reports on water sources.
• Plans and budgets for equipment, chemicals, and training.
