Job summary

Coinbase is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Backend - Platform (Tokens & Wrapped Assets). You will own end-to-end delivery across multiple chains, building the Go services and smart contracts that mint, burn, bridge, and reconcile wrapped assets.

We expect 5+ years of software engineering experience with backend focus and solid blockchain knowledge. Coinbase is remote-first but not remote-only, with quarterly in-person surges and a competitive base salary range.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with backend focus.
• Blockchain experience including on-chain or related services.
• Experience with distributed systems, APIs, data reconciliation, or on-call ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of token and wrapped asset initiatives across multiple chains.
• Build and operate Go services and smart contracts for minting, burning, bridging, and reconciliation.
