Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a fully remote permanent role with an innovative software company focused on Kubernetes tooling and containerization. You will contribute to two main open-source products: a minimal secure immutable OS to run Kubernetes clusters and a management tool for clusters built on it.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science preferred.
5+ years of experience in software development.
Back-End and/or Linux development experience.
Proficiency in Golang (Go); frontend experience a plus.
Hands-on Linux experience.
Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
Open-Source development experience (GitHub profile preferred).
Deep knowledge of network-based solutions.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain two main open-source products.
Improve performance, ensure scalability, and add automated integration tests.
Handle user questions and provide support as needed.
