Job summary

Canonical is hiring a software engineer to join our Kubernetes product team. You will build operators and addons, enabling complete lifecycle management of mission-critical components and a zero-ops experience for integrating projects into Kubernetes.

You will work with Go or Python, gain familiarity with Kubernetes features, and collaborate with peers worldwide. This remote role supports EM­EA and Americas locations, with travel 2–4 weeks for events.

Qualifications

• Go or Python is required; experience in both is a plus.
• Bachelor’s or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM or similar degree.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Debug issues and interact with a vibrant community.
