Job summary

3Pillar Global, Inc. is seeking an experienced Software Engineer specializing in Go to lead delivery of high-volume ingest pipelines and edge deployments. You will work across IoT/OT telemetry, time-series storage, and performance-critical systems in a remote-first setup.

The role requires 5+ years of Go engineering experience, strong concurrency skills, and familiarity with network protocols. You will collaborate with global teams and contribute to best practices and secure, scalable software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with depth in Go.
• Strong concurrency and performance engineering skills (goroutines, channels, profiling).
• Solid network protocol fundamentals and debugging with packet captures.
• Experience building high-volume ingest or streaming pipelines in production.
• Working experience with time-series storage such as InfluxDB, including design considerations.
• Experience with scalable, enterprise-level systems and OWASP awareness.
• Proficiency in English and authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Independently drive project delivery within defined architecture from conceptualization to deployment.
• Build and optimize high-volume ingest pipelines in Go with concurrency design and back-pressure.
• Implement device polling/collection across IoT/OT telemetry and write to time-series storage.
• Profile and tune for throughput, latency, and memory footprint in edge deployments.
• Craft client code that is efficient, testable, scalable, secure, and high quality.
• Participate in planning/estimation activities and agile governance.
• Contribute to code reviews and documentation; mentor teammates on resiliency design.
• Assist knowledge transfer and ramp-up for new engineers joining the team.
• Engage in agile rituals and the Engineering Practice community.
