Job summary

Liftoff, a leading AI-powered performance marketing platform for mobile apps, is hiring a Software Engineer to own end-to-end projects and ship code rapidly. You will work with a world-class team on scalable backend systems, focusing on Go and modern open-source technologies.

A CS degree and 5+ years of experience are expected. You’ll collaborate during rapid deployment cycles, emphasize engineering excellence, and contribute to a nimble, high-impact environment with global reach.

Qualifications

• Strong coding ability; Go is a plus but not necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields and 5+ years software engineering experience.
• Solid CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, architecting systems).
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience building high-scale distributed systems and backend architectures.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, eager to learn and get things done.
• Genuine interest and/or experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex distributed systems problems.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of projects and collaborate with a small team of engineers.
• Ship code multiple times a day and measure impact on millions of users and revenue.
• Participate in an engineering excellence culture with risk-driven testing and code review.
