Job summary

Om Tat Sat Solutions is seeking a Senior Go Developer to build high-performance backend services remotely. You will migrate performance-critical Java components to Go, implement gRPC services, and optimize SQL Server performance while ensuring production readiness.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in software development, with 5+ years in Go, deep knowledge of Go concurrency, and strong experience with Go testing, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development, 5+ years in Go.
• Strong Go concurrency, goroutines, channels, error handling, testing.
• Experience with Go, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and SQL Server tuning.
• Go database connectivity and bulk operations; migrate Java to Go.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain production-grade Go microservices.
• Analyze Java apps to identify performance bottlenecks for migration to Go.
• Rewrite selected Java components in Go with performance benchmarks.
• Develop gRPC services using Protocol Buffers.
• Write efficient, concurrent Go code with goroutines and channels.
• Profile and optimize Go apps using pprof and benchmarks.
• Tune MS SQL Server queries, indexing, and execution plans.
• Handle Git/GitHub PRs, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS deployments.
• Implement logging, monitoring, tracing, and on-call support.
