Job summary

YLD, a remote-first consultancy, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a client team and help build innovative products. You will design scalable, fault-tolerant architectures and collaborate across engineering disciplines in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate brings strong Go backend experience, cloud familiarity (AWS/Azure/GCP), API design expertise, and a passion for testing and deployment with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Strong backend engineering experience with Go as a primary language.
• Experience building and maintaining APIs and backend services for SaaS platforms.
• Familiarity with Docker, containers, Kubernetes and cloud environments.
• Experience with testing strategies including TDD and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant architectures for client products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
