Job summary

RTX is hiring a Sr. Systems Engineer at its The Effectors PG&C Center in Tucson, AZ to drive guidance, navigation, and control algorithm development and integration.

You will collaborate in an integrated product team delivering 6-DOF simulations and embedded flight software for missile programs, with an onsite role in Tucson. The role requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of GNC/modeling/simulation experience, proficiency in MATLAB/Python/C/C++, and the ability to obtain Interim Secret security

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM with 5+ years experience.
• GNC, Signal Processing, and/or Modeling/Simulation experience.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and OO programming.

Responsibilities

• Development, integration, and testing of embedded tactical missile flight code.
• Definition and execution of system level performance studies and analyses.
• Work within an agile framework to lead development of backlogs, plans, and metrics.
• Provide experience and guidance to help the program train new engineers and execute efficiently.
• Support missile performance analysis including model development, system optimization, and Monte Carlo assessments.
