The Boeing Company in Berkeley, MO is seeking a Senior Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) Engineer to join the Flight Systems Engineering Capability. You will work on flight control and subsystem control for the T-7A Red Hawk, supporting design, development, integration and flight testing.

Responsibilities include modeling, control law design, validation against test data, and collaboration with multi-discipline teams to ensure customer requirements are met.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
• 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Aufgaben

• Gather, define and document Guidance, Navigation and Control mission requirements with traceability from system to components.
• Develop and refine a nonlinear 6-DOF simulation model using multidisciplinary data.
• Support design of flight control laws to meet performance targets.
• Perform model validation against test data to improve simulation accuracy.
• Develop controllers, limiters, mode logic and signal shaping for flight envelope boundaries.
• Lead cross-divisional technical support and provide customer-facing assistance.
