NextPlay Jobs seeks a Senior Systems Engineer focusing on Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) and flight controls for an on-site role in Palo Alto, CA. You will own requirements, interfaces, verification, and validation across safety-critical GNC subsystems.

You will collaborate with GNC, embedded software, avionics, simulation, and flight-test teams to ensure traceability, interface definition, and robust verification strategies throughout the aircraft development lifecycle.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering field.
• 5+ years systems engineering in aerospace or safety-critical environments.
• Proficiency in GNC, flight controls, and vehicle dynamics.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and manage system requirements for GNC and flight-control systems.
• Own traceability and verification closure.
• Define interfaces between GNC, flight controls, avionics, sensors, actuators.
• Develop verification and validation strategies and plans.
• Support integration across simulation, SIL/HIL, bench, and aircraft environments.
• Analyze system behavior and root causes.
• Maintain requirements artifacts in management tools.
• Support safety, certification, and airworthiness activities.
• Participate in design reviews and technical decisions.
