Job summary

The GMP Maintenance Technician III at Cushman & Wakefield is responsible for operating and maintaining a Vertex Manufacturing facility with minimized unplanned downtime in an audit-ready GMP-compliant environment. You will ensure maintenance work is performed per SOPs within Nuvolo CMMS and operate BMS Metasys controls to support building operations.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in maintenance with hands-on electrical, HVAC, mechanical skills and experience with BMS/CMMS systems.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years experience in maintenance/engineering
• Hands-on electrical, HVAC, mechanical maintenance and operations
• Experience with operating BMS and CMMS
• Knowledge of Pharmaceutical/Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Equipment and GxP
• Experience with Job Hazard Analysis and Lock Out Tag Out
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand all day, climb stairs/ladders

Responsibilities

• Complete work requests, maintenance projects and operational assignments with minimal supervision
• Escort vendors and ensure SOP compliance
• Operate automation systems (BMS Metasys) and understand control sequences
• Monitor systems and respond to alarms
• Collaborate with cross-department stakeholders to achieve goals
• Apply GMP/Good Engineering Practice to troubleshoot facility and equipment
• On-call responsibilities on rotating basis for emergencies
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and follow OSHA policies
• Ensure training curriculum is followed and documentation is accurate
• Perform root-cause analysis and provide recommendations
• Monitor critical utilities (WFI and RO) and PH/Biokill systems
